# 2 Person Saunas: Infrared and Traditional Cabins for Two

Source: https://www.mars-sauna-room.com/saunas/2-person-saunas/

A 2 person sauna seats two side by side in a home, gym or hotel room. This collection lists 59 two person saunas, from infrared cabins on 110–120V to electric stove models for traditional heat.

The 2 person sauna is the most popular size for home use: big enough to share, small enough for a spare bedroom, basement or garage. This collection brings together 59 two person saunas from across the catalogue, including 22 full spectrum models, 10 low-EMF carbon cabins, 9 far infrared cabins, 6 red light therapy saunas, 6 traditional saunas and one outdoor model. Infrared or traditional heat? Heat type Heaters in this collection Typical temperature Power supply Infrared (carbon, full spectrum, ceramic, red light) Carbon fiber on 26 models, full spectrum on 21, red light panels on 7, ceramic on 3 18–65 °C (64–149 °F) Most offered in 110–120V or 220–240V Traditional stove Electric stove with stones on 7 models about 60–100 °C (140–212 °F) Dedicated circuit, planned by an installer A 2 person infrared sauna warms the body mainly by radiant heat, preheats quickly and is the easier install for an indoor room. A 2 person traditional sauna heats air and stones and lets you ladle water for a burst of steam, which suits buyers who want the classic dry and wet sauna feel. Read infrared vs traditional sauna for a fuller comparison. Two person sauna size and dimensions Exterior widths in this collection run from 90 to 200 cm (about 35–79 in). A typical indoor two person infrared sauna is around 120 × 100 cm, as on the MS-FS22 2-Person 1540W Red Glass Full Spectrum Sauna. Wider cabins give each person more shoulder room or a longer bench for lying back. Check interior bench depth, ceiling height and door swing against the room, and use the sauna finder to filter models by space and capacity. Power and circuit Rated power runs from 1,400 to 3,475 W. Smaller infrared cabins draw about 12 A at 120V, while the largest models need 220–240V. 54 models list a 110–120V build and 55 a 220–240V build. Enter the rated wattage in the power calculator and have an electrician confirm the circuit. What else to compare Wood: red cedar and hemlock are each listed on 44 models; 7 use solid wood. Heater layout: panels behind the backrest, at the calves and on the side walls give the most even heat for two. Controls and extras: soft-touch panels, interior and exterior controls, reading lights. Certification: 52 models list CE and ETL; request certificate copies for the exact build and voltage. Two person saunas suit couples, home gyms, holiday rentals and hotel rooms. Retailers often make this the core size of a range, with a 1-person sauna below it and a 3-person model above it.

## FAQ
### What size is a 2 person sauna?
Two person saunas in this collection are 90 to 200 cm (about 35 to 79 in) wide on the outside. A common indoor footprint is around 120 × 100 cm. Each product page lists exterior and interior dimensions, so compare bench depth, ceiling height and door swing with the room before ordering.

### Is a 2 person infrared sauna or a traditional sauna better for indoors?
For most indoor rooms, a two person infrared sauna is simpler: it runs at 18–65 °C, needs no water and many models are offered in 110–120V. A traditional stove sauna runs hotter, allows steam from the stones and needs a suitable stove, a dedicated circuit and ventilation planned by an installer.

### Do you have a 2 person steam sauna or wet and dry sauna?
Our electric stove saunas with stones work as a dry sauna, and ladling water onto the stones adds short bursts of steam for a wetter feel. They are not sealed steam rooms with a steam generator. Infrared models in this collection must never have water poured on the heaters.

### Can a two person sauna run on 110V?
Yes, 54 of the 59 models list a 110–120V build. At 120V, smaller cabins draw around 12 A, so they still need a suitable circuit, ideally dedicated. Larger cabins and stove saunas are better on 220–240V. Use the power calculator with the rated wattage and have an electrician confirm.

### Do you make a 2 person corner sauna or outdoor sauna?
Corner layouts in the catalogue are mostly planned for 3 to 4 people and are grouped on the corner saunas page. For outdoor use, this collection includes one outdoor model, and the outdoor saunas line has barrel and cube designs, including the 2-4 person MS-OD02 barrel sauna.
