# 3 Person Saunas: Three Person Infrared Sauna Rooms

Source: https://www.mars-sauna-room.com/saunas/3-person-saunas/

A 3 person sauna gives two people room to stretch out or seats three side by side. This collection lists 34 three person saunas, 150–175 cm wide and rated 1,800–2,770 W.

The 3 person sauna sits between the compact two-seat cabin and the large family room. It suits households that want space to sit back, small gyms, spa treatment rooms and hotel suites. This collection gathers 34 three person saunas: 16 full spectrum models, 6 far infrared, 5 low-EMF carbon cabins, 3 red light therapy saunas, 3 US-standard models and one traditional sauna. Size and layout Exterior widths run from 150 to 175 cm (about 59–69 in). Most cabins are rectangular with one long bench; others put the bench across the back and add heaters on both side walls. If the room has an empty corner, compare the angled-front corner saunas , many of which are planned for 3 to 4 people. Check ceiling height, door swing and the space needed to bring panels into the room. Power, voltage and circuit Rated power runs from 1,800 to 2,770 W, which is more than a typical shared household circuit at 120V. 33 models list a 110–120V build and 31 a 220–240V build; the MS-FS42 is listed with 110V, 220V or 380V ratings. The table shows the current each power level draws. Rated power Current at 120V Current at 230V 1,800 W 15.0 A 7.8 A 2,360 W 19.7 A 10.3 A 2,770 W 23.1 A 12.0 A At these loads a dedicated circuit is the norm. Run the numbers in the power calculator and read 110–120V vs 220–240V planning before choosing the build for your market. Heaters and wood Heaters: full spectrum and carbon fiber each appear on 16 models; red glass emitter counts of 7 or 8 are common, as on the MS-FS39 and MS-FS44. Wood: hemlock is listed on 27 models and red cedar on 26, with a few in solid wood or pine. Use location: the MS-FS38 is listed for indoor and outdoor use; for fully exposed sites see outdoor saunas. Certification: 30 models list CE and ETL, and some also list ISO 9001, RoHS, TÜV, SAA or CB. Ask for certificates for the exact build. Who a three person infrared sauna suits Distributors use the three person sauna as the step-up model in a home range and as an entry size for light commercial rooms. If you are fitting out a gym or hotel, see the commercial saunas collection for larger formats. Every cabin is panel-built and ships with an installation manual, and we provide online technical support.

## FAQ
### What are the dimensions of a 3 person sauna?
Three person saunas in this collection are 150 to 175 cm (about 59 to 69 in) wide on the outside. Depth and height vary by model and are listed on each product page. Allow clearance around the cabin, and check the door swing and the route for carrying panels into the room.

### How much power does a 3 person infrared sauna need?
Rated power runs from 1,800 to 2,770 W. That is 15 to 23 A at 120V, or about 8 to 12 A at 230V, so a dedicated circuit is normally required. Use the power calculator with the listed wattage and have an electrician confirm the circuit and breaker size.

### Is there a 3 person traditional or steam sauna?
Most three person models are infrared, and the collection includes one traditional sauna with an electric stove. Stove saunas let you pour water on the stones for steam. For more stove models, browse the traditional saunas line and send your room dimensions so we can match the stove.

### Do you have a 3 person corner sauna?
Yes. Corner models with an angled front are planned for 3 to 4 people, such as the MS-FI25 3-4 Person Corner Infrared Sauna in Hemlock and Red Cedar. They are grouped on the corner saunas page, 150 to 180 cm wide and rated 2,150 to 2,610 W.
