A 120V sauna is designed for the household voltage used in North America, so it can be installed without the 240V supply that most electric sauna stoves need. Every cabin in this collection uses an infrared heater system, and all 62 models list a 110–120V build, CE and ETL certification and a rated power between 1,100 and 1,800 W. Exterior widths run from 90 to 150 cm (about 35–59 in), which covers one, two and some three person cabins.
A 120V circuit protected at 15 A supplies at most 1,800 W, and continuous loads such as a sauna are commonly kept to 80% of the breaker rating. Match the cabin to the circuit like this, and always have an electrician confirm local code requirements.
| Rated power | Current at 120V | Typical circuit |
|---|---|---|
| 1,100–1,440 W | 9–12 A | 15 A circuit, ideally dedicated |
| 1,440–1,800 W | 12–15 A | 20 A dedicated circuit |
The power calculator turns the listed wattage into amps, and our guide to 110–120V vs 220–240V explains when a market or room calls for the higher voltage.

This page lists complete cabins with a matched 120V heater set, not loose heaters for a self-built room. Replacement ceramic infrared heater tubes in 110V are listed in sauna accessories, and replacement heaters and control panels for our cabins can be supplied as spare parts. Traditional rock saunas with electric stoves generally need 220–240V and are listed in the traditional saunas line.
120V plug-in saunas are the core of most North American home ranges and of private label programs. Models can be built in hemlock or red cedar, with your logo, panel branding and printed cartons; see US-standard and custom saunas for the series most often ordered under private label. Certification applies to a specific build, so request certificate copies for the exact model and voltage.

Smaller cabins in this collection are rated around 1,100 to 1,440 W and suit a standard 15 A household circuit, ideally one with nothing else on it. Cabins closer to 1,800 W draw about 15 A and should have a dedicated 20 A circuit. Have an electrician check the outlet and local code.
The models on this page are complete infrared cabins with a matched 120V heater set. Replacement ceramic infrared heater tubes in 110V versions are listed in the sauna accessories line, and replacement heaters and control panels for our cabins can be supplied as spare parts.
All 62 models in this collection list CE and ETL certification. Certification applies to a specific build, so confirm that the configuration you order, including voltage, heater layout and control panel, matches the certified version, and request certificate copies with your quote.
Electric sauna stoves generally need a 220–240V supply because of their higher power, so this collection is infrared only. Our traditional stove saunas list stoves of around 3.5 to 6 kW. If 240V is not available, a 120V carbon or full spectrum infrared cabin is the practical choice.
Carbon fiber panels give wide, even heat at a lower surface temperature and are used on 39 of the 62 models. Ceramic tubes run hotter at the surface and feel more intense. Full spectrum models add red glass emitters for near and mid infrared plus visible red light.
